Admission Students are admitted into AHEADD following acceptance into the college/university of their choice (in one of our supported locations) and satisfactory completion of our enrollment process. The enrollment process includes:
1. Completion of Enrollment Application and payment of $50. 2. Initial phone contact with Student and/or Parents 3. Provision of Relevant Social/Medical History 4. Provision of Relevant Assessments 5. Personal Interview with Student via phone or face to face
Applicants are informed of the acceptance decision immediately after the personal interview.
Program Expectations Students are expected to participate in all academic and personal goal setting meetings and demonstrate potential or willingness to achieve an independent lifestyle. Prior to the end of each semester, each student and his/her family will evaluate program performance and make programming decisions for the subsequent semester.
Application Fee A $50 application fee can either be mailed in with a check if filling out a paper application to:

The application fee for this service is $150
Tuition Tuition schedules vary according to the site in which a student is enrolled, and can range anywhere from $4200 - $5300 per student, per semester.

AHEADD offers need-based scholarships and can assist students and their families in finding alternative funding sources to cover our costs.
