Past Winners:
Carolyn Chang is a senior at Mission San Jose High School in
Fremont. Throughout her four years in high school, Carolyn has
volunteered for various programs that involved working with
and teaching children. These include being a teaching assistant
at the Wisdom Culture Camp, tutoring at Chadbourne
Elementary School, and being a teaching assistant at a preschool
program, Sunshine Kids. During week-long trips to Mexico
though her church, Carolyn and her team prepare lessons and
plan craft time for about 30-40 elementary school-age children.
